Folks, If you want to SEE a meet, you have
to BE the meet. That means don't wait until people leave and say that nobody's there.

Nissans arrived early and left early. Other groups arrived constantly and left about 1.5 to 2 hours later....until 4PM when everybody left....including me......I headed to the mall....mall chic takes me to the beach all night....missed the Clearwater evening meet.......

During the day, as people drove in,, other people left. It was my observation that people lasted no more than 2 hours in the heat before looking for places to cool off.

I started a thread in Local Events for Weekend Evening Meets, which are cooler than daytime meets.

ChicaCivic has a good idea...every 2-3 months would be perfect....
+1....that way it doesn't get old......

Here are some quotes/complaints:
showed up @ 1:15 and maybe a total of 15-20 cars....

I got there around 2. stayed for about 45 minutes, was maybe 20 cars out there. I left.

Drove from plant city and there was 5 cars there. I was there at 3 45.
