Oh...didn't see the "before a/c" statement in the first post . LOL...ya check the heater core because if it's not one it's probably another. Unless you've got a hole in your floorboard somewhere, which is doubtful if the water is actually pooling.

lol

Check the air intake for the A/C as well, not sure where it would be on your car because you didn't say it. Most of the time its on the cowl, will be under the plastic. Should be a rubber around the hole for the intake to keep the water out if its moved or missing then it could be your problem.

Other wise as they siad its the drain clogged. Unless its hot then its the heater core.

take the carpet out of the car and let it sit in the sun till it dries through all the jut (padding).. otherwise your going to be in for some mold and foul odors.

Take a small drillbit and drill a hole in the floorboard. Don't drill through your carpet unless you're nuts and don't care.

Hey, its the easiest way.

TY to OP, I have been having this issue myself and too busy to look into it. But with everyone's ideas I think I have come to a conclusion . . . it's my A/C and Heater core lmao, When the A/C is blowing it drips cold ass water on my wife's feet, when the A/C is off it drips hot ass water on her feet. LMAO

Sometimes all you have to do is stick a wire up through a clogged drain or reconnect or replace a bad drain hose and you are as good as new.
