Default I really need someones help!

I went and rented a engine lift and i have it in my garage now and i have to turn it in tommorw by 3pm. Sooooo..I got everything ready and i know that this is a simple job. I need to get this engine on the engine stand. I dont know what bolts iam suspoosed to use to have it on the engine stand. I asked this guy from advanced and he said something about the manifold bolts can be used i dont know anymore i was thinking if someone would be able to come over and help me either now or maybe bring there hoist over and help me out i would pay you of course like 50 dollars to bring yours and get this thing up on the stand please. I needed to bolt this thing on the stand ,not sure what bolts to use off the engine. Does anyone know what iam talking about please help me?

you want to use your transmission bolts.. the ones that put the transmission to the side.. you will find about 4 of them on the side by the flywheel.. dude you can probably just get a few guys and lift it.. its an aluminum motor they aren't THAT heavy.... not like a KA24.. jesus..

Don't take this the wrong way but after reading your posts it appears as if this is not something you should be doing.

I know but i was told by somone that the best way to do things is just to go for it. Besides i want to learn. So i wentted ahead and made myself to this thats how i learned how to do my own brakes. I can change all 4 brakes in record time now were as it took me a whole day to do them when i was first pulling my rear end apart. I never learned how to do til i did it myself and learned how to install body kits on my car now when i first learned how to install kits it took me like 3 days before my car was finshined but i wantted t learn how to do it myself so i tore the whole front side rear everything apart and installed my own body kit not even nowing what the hell i was doing. Now i do know after doing this on my own. Of course i only know how to do this on my hatch and no other car but that fine cause thats all i want to know. My car inside out. Iam keeping this car til i die when you guys are flying in cars and stuff iam still going to have my civic of course other cars to but my first car is going to be the keeper. I know that this is such a stupid question for all the experts but i know once i do this i know how to . no whata mean.

Well, more power to you and all but go out and check out a few good manuals on your car and what you are trying to do and read them first so you can get a better idea of what you need to do.

Modern bookstores are loaded up with books with some of the information you need on how to do this without fucking up either you or your equipment.

Good luck.

That's the way to do it. And don't ever think you know everything.
