Gee, a little mad are we? Calm down man. Everyone on here has there own opinion. I believe Supra's are over rated.....is that so bad. I mean I am entitled to my opinion. Sure they make great horsepower, thats a given. Supra's pump out mad horsepower which is very impressive. But whats the use of a car that can only can hook up from 70-80mph??? I find it pathetic that some guys are running mid to low 11's @ 140mph+. Nobody denies the fact the Walser or any other of the internet Supra god's have not beaten top end motorcycles. Afterall, Supra's are top end cars. Nobody on here has questioned you or called b.s. on you. I have you seen your car, very goregous car might I add.

Yeah so what if Viper's and Mustangs and F-bodies make the same horsepower........main difference is these cars hook. They run the e.t. thats expected at those power levels. I'm more impressed by effeciency of cars going down the 1/4 mile than a mid 12 sec Supra trapping at 130mph. A high horsepower Supra running those times doesn't impress me. A majority of the Supra's I have seen are dyno queens. They make mad mph but yet go nowhere. Spin, spin and spin some more. Whoopdeedo, I can get my mom's focus to spin like hell too. Supra's make for fun, top speed street cars......thats about it. I would never buy one for any sort of drag or roadrace use.

Not to flame your or anything but people are entitled to their own opinions. And how is his victory a shallow one. Light turned green, he hooked, you didn't, he beat you......deal with it. I would hope you come back and beat him.....real bad. Afterall what does he have to lose.......oh no he got beat by a 700 horse Supra in his Eclipse. Just learn to lighten up man. Don't get all pissy over a couple of comments.

Troo dat Kenwood. Supra's make for sweet ass street cars. My friend Chris rode in your car that one night at Gandy when you raced my friend Anthony's white GT. He told me your car was sick up top. I'd like to have a dyno queen Supra for some street fun

 

I am not getting mad at him personally but it pisses me off the fact that all supras get painted with the same brush. There are limitations to the supra as far as traction is concerned because to hook that much power, you need an ET Street or slick. The problem with supras is that you cannot fit a rim smaller than 16" without modifiying the rear end with none turbo supra calipers and assembly. Some of us dont want to go there to be able to hook and since our goal is not nessesarilly to dominate te track, then why go thru the hastle. A bogart 15 with some ET Streets woud help but i personally dont want to go there. My fun is racing high end STREET machines. The track is just a 1/4 mile and i get my kicks going 180+MPH.

 

I've learned in the past few months that the only opinion about my car that matters is mine!! Fuck what everyone else says, just have fun the way you want with the car. The only Supra that has really impressed me is Paisley's car(1/4 mile wise). He actually hooks

Hey Man............cool it. What are u getting so worked up about?? I never denied the fact that your car is good. I never said it is slow. Go read my post again. It's my personal opinion about Supras in general....not aimed at you in any way. And when did I brag about beating you?? Just said that I might have raced you. Haven't even mentioned about winning or losing. You did !! But since you brought it up..........I'll refresh your memory. We had a talk before we raced. You told me that you were not running race gas plus no drag slicks/no nos & that you had synchro problems. Now I thought that would be good race cuz at the time I was running 12's & your 10 sec car was on low boost plus all the other problems it had. Anyways when we did line up & race............... I hooked & u didn't......lemme remind you why...it was cuz the light turned directly to green (it was club 1320 night.......Doh!!). Surprisingly U were not aware of that!! If u'd have spent more time at the track.maybe u would have!! Oh well............u talk about being behind by a fender.....I had crossed the 60 foot mark even before u moved. U later told me that you were waiting for yellow lights to start up. Now who's on Hashish ??? I am not here to be rude to you....U are the one who started it now. Anyways..........If you remember correctly........U know u ran a 13.1 on that run cuz u cudn't get into 3rd & I ran a 12.3. So if you still call that a fender...........that's one hellava big fender. I don't remember seeing your car anywhere near mine. Man....I didn't even consider that a victory. I asked you to race cuz I thought it would be a good one. I was not even in the 11's at the time. About Pete.........I saw Angel run 10's in his car & that's it. Oh well.............I was never gloating over any victory & nor am I now.......so cool it a bit !! No point being bitter about stuff like this. i respect your car for what it's worth. people say a whole lotta shit about DSM's but that does not mean that that they are saying that about my car. this is exactly what I wrote in my post:
