Im looking for a place that will charge my r12 AC system in my car. I dont want to convert the system because its more expensive then i really want to spend right now. No im not buying that cheap ghetto shit from autozone either. Also I dont care if its bad for the environment or w/e you have to say. its expensive for a R12 refill tho.. I knew an AC guy, he claims that if you 50/50 the 2, its a lot colder. Im sure its gunna be hard finding it.

 

I heard from just about every person I know that you can NOT mix the two. So im not going to do that. Ill convert once there is no more R12 left. till then idc.

 

No you CANNOT mix the 2.... The oils in both react badly with each other and turn into a gel and ruin your compressor... Look on craigslist, Ive seen people selling the cans on there.

 

^yea i was going to try checking on there. but i would like to see if i can find a shop to do it just because with my luck id over fill it
