not looking to buy one but looking for one that was stolen while in the hands of the owner of twisted metal auto collision in hudson (pasco county.) supposedly he had the engine in his storage while the car was being completed, im personally iffy about these details.

if anyone has info on that particular shop, or any 5.7 LS1 6spd GTO motorsets let me know, a $1000 CASH reward will be offered to the information leading to the return of the engine, you will be kept anonymous.

engine was pulled from a Red 2004 GTO with 30k miles on it along with a 6 speed T56 transmission.

the reward is dead serious, as in, you will get 10 $100 bills if you know where i can find the engine.

Why are you iffy about how your engine was stolen, and whats the story behind it getting stolen from a collision shop?

As much as I'm all for you catching the scumbag theives, this sounds like a job for either the shop's insurance or your own.

If the engine was modded I hope you still have reciepts so you can be properly compensated.

It was completely stock. The owner of the car got into an accident in which the front of the car destroyed requiring fender, bumper cover, support, core support, and straightening the front frame rails. Hopefully the shop has insurance, I dont think it will be incredibly difficult to prove the car had an engine and tranny when it was taken to the shop.
