Default Porsche SUV spy pics

On my drive back to Tallahassee this morning, cruisin down I-10, I came upon some SUVs with no badges, no emblems, no nothing. I didn't know what they were till I turned around and got a look of the front. The headlights look just like the ones from the Boxsters and 911's. They had Georgia "distributor" tags on them, and they were all dirty and one wasn't even painted....just dull dark primer gray. There were about 6 of them in a little caravan together going who knows where. I got a couple pics, even though they are kinda crappy, cause it's hard to get pics while you're trying to drive.

VW's SUV isn't too far behind. Should be out this fall, although I'm not sure if that includes the US. Probably does since this is the SUV capital of the world.

I agree. They are nothing more than the station wagon for the 21st century just as much as the minivan was the station wagon of the late 20th century. Damn automotive fads.

Porsche should stick to what they are great at, making kick ass sports cars.

The Porsche is a twin turbo V8. The Volkswagen SUV has options for a v6, 10 cyl turbo diesel, and a w12 engine.

Hmm, I wonder if they are recycling the old 928 motor since that car is no longer manufactured.
