Could someone please give me some how-to's on painting. I just need to paint the front and rear bumper. Can someone please tell me how to paint?

 

This is one of those you need to see someone do it the right way and learn how to do it through apprenticeship kind of things.

Someone could try to describe it to you, but if you want to do a good job that is not the way I would recommend going about it.

If you have the spray can, compressor, paint and some thinner I would be happy to show you sometime. Its been almost a decade since I have painted anything and I will be happy to show you how as I brush up on my old skills. If you have some old busted up parts that you are replacing I would recommend keeping them handy for the learning process.

If there is someone on this board who has more experience than me in this area and wants to show you how, I recommend picking the person with the most experience.

 

1. Take to a good body/paint shop
2. Drop off items
3. Come back a day or two later
4. Pick up items
5. Install on car
