So ive been looking to buying a new car and Ive decided to stop looking for a nice sue car and just a get a new one and get something that i really want and these are the two that i have narrowed it down to. If you don't like my choices good for you its what i want, anyways its between a 2011 accord coupe or the new 2011 50.0 mustang . The way i see it both have pros and cons to each other...

both are 30K
Accord: Full leather interior, GPS and every gadget you could possibly think off, it literally has everything, v-6 271 hp engine.

Mustang: Pretty much paying 30k for the 5.0, cloth interior, basic gadgets nothing special but has 412 hp! and its and gets same gas mileage as accord...

So out of these 2 which would you pick?

 

Out of your two i'd chose the new Mustang. Though for that price i'd get a mint used C6 Z51.

On a side note, I got to drive a C6 Z06 a few days ago. It was intense.

What I tell everyone who is looking for a $25k+ car is do drive the C6. There's no going back.

 

as good as the c6 may be , it just doesnt float bloat , mostly because its a chevy. Nothing against people that like chevys or have chevys or waht not i jsut dont like them , also a new c6 is like 45K , im not looking for a used car.and my family has had a couple Chevy that have been total garbage. In the other hand , we always buy ford everyone in my family has one and the dealer were i would be ordering mine from could get me a killer price. I guess going with the mustang would be more risky in a way becasue its a wild shot since you cant really test drive it but from what all the reviews say it suppose to be sick as hell! what it comes down to me at the end of the day is whether i prefer performance and lots of power , over "luxury" and comfort ability im gonna have this car for a while so i want to make the right choice

 

If you pay 30K for a Honda Accord, punch yourself. If you pay 30K for a Honda Accord when you could buy a 400 hp Mustang for the same money...kill yourself.


EDIT: just to add...Id love to get a new 5.0 Mustang. If I was in the market in that price range Id be all over it.

 

I think the new mustang actually put 396 hp at the wheels.. so its a little under rated from what I hear.

Go that route, get a base GT with power options. You will be happy. I wouldn't mind getting a new crate 5.0 and putting it in my vic.

 

If you have to think about it, buy the accord. Go ahead and spend $30,000 on a honda accord, even though you can get a car that's RWD, powerfull and fun.

 

This isn't even a question. FWD with no power or RWD with 400hp?

 

yes without a doubt the mustang is the WAY better car when it comes to power. But like i said before this is going to be my daily driver and will most likely not get anything done to it at least until the warranty goes out. I dont go around racing everyone that i see so my biggest thing is do i prefer comfortability and having a bunch of cool shit in my car, or having a car that is no were as nicely equipped but that would be a lot more fun to drive. All and all im leaning more towards the mustang , tomorow im going to the dealer and hopefully placing my order and i should get it in 10 weeks.
