56k beware!! Car Freitag @ the Nürburgring, I was there..again
thanks
yea quite close, its a 1 1/2 hour Autobahn drive, mostly speed limited to 100-130 kmh
You might check if I reuploaded the pictures later that day, now I'm out for Dinner @ my brother in law's and then I'm going to finish the exam stuff......4-6 hours.

last dive I went it was 22 € for 1 lap.
Nürburgring Grand Prix Circuit Track Days are 30 € for 20 minutes.
the thing about all that video game portations is, that most corners aren't like the ones in real life, not even slightly. the most accurate virtual Nordschleife I've seen is in GT-R Evolution Racing Simulator.....not very good looking, but the corners are better.
here's a video of the game I made with my Logitech G25 wheel
GT-R Evolution BMW Z4 Coupe VLN - Car Videos on StreetFire
In this game you'll get a feeling of how bumpy that road actually is.....at the end of Wippermann section (google for it lol) (video time 7:26) you have so much positive G you barely can watch over your dashboard.....at the Pflanzgarten section (8:0
and 3 turns later (8:20) you'll have so much negative G you'll only see your headliner lol. its crazy

Man I thought Forza had it right, that simulator looks like they have it down. The sound effects sound way better.. $29 a lap isn't bad at all, how quick have you run it in?

Forza and Gran Turismo aren't that bad at all....even Need For Speed Shift's Nordschleife is quite good (too much "party" around the track though), but they all miss the feeling of g-force effects on the driver, theres not enough movement in the cockpit view.Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Forza 3
Taking your times isnt allowed actually, stopwatches and cameras are forbidden during tourist driving because some people (mostly bloody amateurs) push it to far and crash because they want to look cool in their videos.That doesnt mean people dont film their laps, just look at the picture in my sig lol.
the other problem is, that you have to slide in your RingCard (chargeable money card) into a terminal for each lap you do. this means you have to come to a hold at the entry.
the inofficial time taking start and stop points are the first bridge (Bilstein bridge) after the entry and the last bridge (Audi bridge) at the Döttinger Höhe section (the long straight).
I'm not very fast, my car is still my DD so it has full interieur (I throw out everything I can though lol) and only has 203 bhp. So I have to make room for faster cars what means I lose some seconds. I rather get home safely than driving a fast lap. If you're interestet in my car's modifications you can click the link in my signature.
and sorry for me taking so long to upload the pics...I'm kinda busy atm as you might imagine lol
@crcn11
