I'm at a stop light today and some kid in his Mom's Camry asks me if my car is a turbo? I say yes, he says "Eclipses are slow off the line especially the ones with all wheel drive because of the extra weight." I said so what do you consider fast? he said "My friend has a 2001 Eclipse GT they are a lot faster than your body style, turbo's dont add to much horsies, the V6 ones are a whole lot faster" I was like WTF fortunately the light turned green before more brain cells were killed for listening to this kid.

my friend had a brand new V6 eclipse and raced another one of my friends 95 gst and beat it.. stock vs. stock(gst had intake).
dont they run around the same hp numbers?
i dont know much about the dsms....

Countless hours of work by Sound Performance was spent into turbocharging the 6G72 engine, and it shows with the pristine quality seen under his hood and the dyno-slip rocking over 221whp @ 6psi!
its sad,, 4g63 hit the same power almost in stock form, and the benfit and handling of AWD
pointe is keep those dsm they will be a tru colector car of our time,
the older eclipse had the best bang for the buck u can buy ,, AWD turbo in a car any one can aford new eclipse, have incredible competion and priced way out there,

none taken jason even i know that a camry with i/h/e and gutted only rendered low 17s. u just can mix 130 base hp with an auto tranny and 3100lbs.
