Come out from your cave and take a look around. There are some really good domestic cars on the market, economy cars or otherwise. Why limit yourself to the vast amount of choices you have available because of some ill-conceived notion that somehow Japanese compact cars are superior.

If they made that car and only gave it 175 hp that would be retarded. The mazdaspeed 3 is 263 hp and 280 tq and starts around 25k.. it atleast needs to compete with that IMO

 

The mazdaspeed 3 is a lot bigger than this thing though.

I do like the speed thought its a fun car.

 

I don't think you realize how small this thing is. This thing is about the size of a Honda Fit, possibly smaller. A Fit barely has more than a 100 hp. 175HP would be more than enough for this car. It'll most likely be priced less than a Fit too. I think Toyota and Honda have much to worry about.

 

Plus, its most likely coming with a turbo that is probably the size of a can of peas, so you can probably push it a little further with a bigger turbo.

I'm excited to see some swaps.
