So how many of you...
The only thing I don't do is alignments, tire mounting/balancing, and windshields.
Sears in Brandon hooks me up for the alignments and tire work..
From custom engine swaps , turbo installs , and body work I do it all. I was a mechanic/ bodyman / detailer for a number of years.

I work on my own and work with my friend as well.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Same here for the most part. I do what I have the tools and time for. With 2 kids, work, house, etc time is sometimes the biggest issue. I just dont have time to spend a whole day, or whole weekend in the driveway. Also, I dont have a lot of patience, so there are many things I dont tackle.

Obviously aside from the tires... just do everything myself. If I don't know something, learn.
