yeah be careful on craigslist....theres a story about a quad almost getting stolen and i know near me a guy showed up to an address selling a quad to someone, 2 kids "test drove" it around the block and never came back......he knocked on the door and an old man answered saying he lives alone and doesnt have/live with any kids.

Good call, if it doesnt feel right it probably isnt.

Unless I am buying / selling something electronic (xbox for instance) I will never let the person come to my house, and I usually dont feel comfortable going to theirs either. You never know who you are dealing with, and I prefer to keep all that shit in public places.

public places for sure, i sold 5 sets of uf tickets last year and everytime I met up with some1 it was in a place like mcdonalds or something. Not just in the parking lot, but inside. Sounds like you did the right thing so good job!
