Seen a few of them, they are nice, but I would pick a different car for the money.

I like them. There is a red one in Brandon and I saw a blue one at cars and coffee once. Insteresting interiors but its m5 motor in a car that weighs ~600 lbs less than an m5 is awesome, more so with the 50/50 weight distribution.
I would own one as a collector, but not if I had less than 30 cars.

The Alpina has the 4 liter V8 from a 540, the BMW Z8 has the V8 of the E39 M5
The Alpina also has a different suspension setup and an automatic gear box.....and thats what killed the car.
Z8's arent meant to be sports cars anyway, it was an image product by BMW, a homage to the 507 Roadster.
Thats the only BMW my dad never brought home when he was a BMW manager :-/
way to expensive to "just" hand it out to anyone.
I wonder if my brother's boss, BMW and Alpina dealer, has a BMW or Alpina Z8, he has 2 industry halls packed with over 70 cars, he owns M1s and 5 different Z1 Roadsters, one of them is an Alpina too (66 ever made)

HP and Trq is not the only thing a cars price is based on..
You might as well say something stupid like;
"yo broz, 4 128k i can build 6 sick ass ek's with a k20, boost, and jdm vtak stuff!"
What an insult, the Z8 is crazy! Even tho the front end is not sooo appealing to me, regardless, awesome rare car. And its not rare cause of its high price, but it has a high price cause its rare, not alot were made.
And I don't mean rare like when honda guys see a jdm intergra and say "damnnnn thats rare!"
