you honda kids think that honda is the best thing to ever happen in this world. They don't even make the s2000 anymore. This is a thread about a viper that is a full track car being sold by dodge, not about hondas that you have to build yourself to get to the same level.

 

Go to Honda, buy their 640hp S2000 and bring it to Sebring January 13-17. There will be a whole bunch of Vipers for you to whoop up on.

here what i think:
1. a 640whp s2000 would have to be boosted out of its ass to make that power and would be extremely laggy and have little low end power.
2. the chassis wouldnt react well, that car was never designed to utilize that kind of power around a track, the Viper was. it would be a death trap at best.

I'm not saying you couldn't make an S2000 competitive with that Viper, you definitely could, especially on a more technical track, on something like N-ring, it would get its ass whooped worse than rihanna.

you would be better off using a more adept chassis, maybe something with a little more wheelbase, like an NSX.

the point is, this Viper is something that Dodge offers from the factory, this a no bullshit all out racecar, honda has NEVER offered such a thing and probably never will.

I'd rather be chauffeured in a hot tub with 640hp and have a butler to bring me drinks in it....but they don't make that from the factory either....
