I've always had an interest in vehicles of any kind. I also have a "do more with less" attitude, and a concern for what the petroleum industry is doing to our society and our environment.
Also, taking into consideration the 40 mile range, under load (as trucks are usually used for) the range would be DRASTICALLY lower. as in, carry my charger in the back, low.

Being that the bed of the truck is used to carry all his batteries I doubt he will use it to pick up anything at Home Depot, Lowes, etc. etc..
