I'm going to refrain from like love or hate until I see it in person, I wasn't a fan of the last generation of the 5 until seeing one in person. Hopefully this one will be the same way.

He already left BMW in February.

Now its Adrian van Hooydonk who's responsilbe for the new designs.....but they arent as awful as the designs Bangle is to blame for.


The reason because the newer european cars look the way they look are stricter regulations for pedestrian protection and so on.

The front ends must be shaped in a way that pedestrians suffer less injuries when hit with a certain speed, also the side mirrors have to be bigger.

So there won't be mirrors the size of my M-Technic mirrors on any new upcoming cars

compare the size of the E90 mirros before and after facelift.....the facelift mirrors are huge!
