Whats special about it?

An imposing push bar dominates the Crown Vics nose and is supported by a reinforced beam that allows stranded vehicles to be pushed to a safe location. This big bumper can also be used to push the corner of a fleeing vehicle to force it into a spin and avoid a high-speed chase. High-intensity-discharge headlights along with search lights mounted on the side mirrors afford maximum nighttime visibility and the new location for the spotlights makes for a more aerodynamic cruiser.

To allow police officers more of an advantage when chasing scofflaws the 4.6-liter V8 is fitted with four-valve heads providing a stout 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque.

Why should you care?

Its always a good to know what the latest police cruiser looks like so you can tell whether or not that sedan rushing up behind you is a bear in a plain brown wrapper or not

 

Should be good for 130 mph+ drafting on public roads just for shits and giggles

No should be good for 140 or so with open interstate because of the low profile light bar.
