High flow exhaust cause a loss of...?
This debate went on for a while in the St. pete meet thread I remember. With boostin posting the same good info.
^ And me yelling at everybody for mentioning back pressure.
so is it the same with turbo cars because i know the turbo needs back pressure to spool it self up so if u switch to a high flow exhaust will you loose power ??

IDK about that man. My brothers integra was being tuned, and when they opened the E-cut out, and was running an open down pipe, he picked up 7hp. That was versus the cutout being closed running through a full 3 inch thermal research exhaust.

the better the exhaust gases push thru the turbine the more efficient the turbo is. otherwise bad things happen.....what you might be thinking of is air flowing past the turbine rather than thru it. if thats the case, the turbo is useless.
