Virgin slick user get new best!

Yes I WAS a virgin. Slick tire virgin that is. 
And boy it was fun to say the least. Two best runs of the day were as follows:
Run 1
.989 -ya I know. I was looking at my tach.
1.63 -Bam! is all I heard. Though the rear went!

86.68 mph
12.47
108.9
That pass was at 6900rpms and dumping the clutch. Let the car cool for only 20 min or so. The day started to get hotter so made another pass.
Run 2

1.62 -Ya!! Pulled the left front wheel!
7.98 - I hit the limiter on the 1-2 shift! oops.
86.19 mph

Second run I left at 7000rpm. Man it was violent. I have on tape the two runs and the 2nd one is much more violent than the first weird. Now I think Im gonna try to lighten up the car alittle(race weight today was 3550 w/ me) to see how close I can get to an 11 sec slip on a n/a stock longblock motor. Special thanks to Chris(N20D50) for letting me use his magical slicks.

Thanks. I have all the basic bolt-ons mods like pullies power pipe full exhaust drag suspension gear timing adj clutch maf etc. The stuff u can put on your car in my own garage. The motor is stock(headscamsintake and bottom end.)I just wish my car weighed 300lbs lighter. -Mark

Congrats Mark!! Those are some pretty respectable times...I hope you started trailering the car....Ya know 7k on slicks??? Buh bye tranny

Congrats those are some nice times for a stock cobra. Running with slicks is adictive you got to love the feeling the 1st time your head nails the seat and you feel all light headed.
