Whats so wrong with the cop telling the Jeep to leave? The driver of the Jeep wasn't going to be placed under arrest or anything. I'm sure the cop took down all of the Jeep driver's information and if anyone involved wants to take a crack at the Jeep driver's insurance policy, they'll be able to.

Also, I really, really, really doubt the story is as simple as, "Integra loaded with people is casually cruising down the CCC on a Sarurday night obeying all traffic laws, Jeep pulls out in front of Integra, and Integra spins out and plays pinball with the gaurdrails."

But hey, everyone lived to make better decisions another day. What more can you ask?

 

Im sorry people are imjured and I hope they are going to be OK. Perhaps the Jeep did cut them off, who knows? But the Jeep did not get hit, or hit anyone so really it comes down to the jeep guy caring enough to stop to see if everything was ok. The cops most likely let him go becuase there was no proof of anything, just a integra on fire, and a few people hurt. I also find it hard to believe the teg wasnt speeding. Perhaps if the teg wasnt speeding he would have been able to control the car better and not slam into a wall. who knows what the contributing factors may be? The driver could have been intoxicated, or even not paying attention. eithier way the out come sucks. And again I hope everyone is ok. Also, always remember there are always 2 sides of a story.

 

I'd have to agree. I avoid that place from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. If it's not stupid accidents(not saying this was), it's people robbing people or some other action that shows how shallow the next generation is swimming in the gene pool.

Im not understanding why you quoted "tuner" when you yourself drive a "tuner" car, but ok.

And the really scary part is actually that cars can burst into flames by making impact into an object such as a wall.

Especially with such a volatile substance like gas. Fuel lines rupture and theres a bunch of ways that things can go boom.

BTW I have been working on cars for about 15 years (professionally on and off) and to my knowledge no they don't just burst into flames from impact .... Thats called a defect of some sort of part (or a ford pinto). I have seen accidents with cars split in half and they did not burst into flames .... But for example, putting cheep chinese made fuel pressure regulators and fuel rails, can cause shit like that, cause the RnD wasn't there for safety ... Hence the point of my post.

I'm not trying to be a dick or something. Just wish some of us in the community would support the real companies that put RnD in to parts, cause safety is one of the issues in producing them ... Not so much for the cheep chinese knockoffs ...
