I know a guy that has a red one, its not a dark red but maybe thats it?

 

These are some really good suggestions. It is not the Ultimate Aero. Saw one of those at the sidelines of Festival of Speed this year. Not the XJ220.

The GTM (if it is called that) looked the closest but it had a wing on the back. The wing looked like a 3rd generation supra wing but not as high. Any more suggestions?

Ha-ha. I totally agree with you. I had my phone on me but the situation caught me off gaurd and I only had about 5 seconds to look at the car.

Not the Noble. Good idea though. I still haven't seen one of the new Nobles. Just the M12.

Oh well, don't worry about figuring it out anymore. If I see it again I will get a pic of it next time.

 

I'll take a stab at it, perhaps it was a Factory 5 GTM. Its an American kit car manufacturer that uses sourced Corvette parts to complete it.




or...you'd have to be living under a rock to not know what this is, but I'll throw it out there since it meets all your descriptions....A Ford GT?

I bet it was the GTM, I worked next to the garage were they built the maroon one, it was featured on speed, I would walk over everyday and watch them work on it
