A real "rat rod" is a cheaply done hot rod. Ususally made from parts from junk yard and old signs for sheet metal. Looks cool if done right:

But that link may be that shitty cultural thing that is popular in california where kids take there riced out honda and make the hood rusty or break the glass on purpose. Or put thousands into the car and put it on old rusty wheels...

Let's not confuse Rat Rods with Traditional rods... I prefer traditional

All these honda kids are all posers. They follow every trend there is. Fitment n stance shouldnt belong into honda's and for sure rat rod should not belong in to honda's.

+1. I did scallops on my Sol about 5 years ago. then 2 years ago all this shit booms!! like when I had a primer painted front end in '01 because I couldn't finish my car , I had to move to Florida.. then two years after that everybody on the damn road has it like its cool
