best engine for nitrous?
Idk man, 100 shot on a stock 4 cylinder is almost unheard of, at least for more than one run. There are engines built to do it, but I'm sure the cars they are in will be well over $1500. And since almost no one builds for nitrous, those engines are hard to come by.
I started the setup in my 1.6 Lanos with a 35 wet shot. Pretty cool, but not quite right. After upping it to 50, it was feeling a lot better and was still quite safe. I could push it to 75, but that would cause issues, as I've already seen one Lanos motor go at 75 dry shot.

Oh, the crap people spew on the internet. There are strong factory engines out there. I sprayed a 175 dry shot through my MAF on numerous Volvo 240s. Also my Ford 2.3t took a 125 shot on top of 26psi from a Holset HX35 for over a year.

i'm going to be pissed if you dont get a Geo lol Thats a goal I have in life to buy a Geo preferably a metro and just half ass the whole thing. Not intake just the manifold, not even a header just open holes in the block shooting flames, if it wont run i'll just put that on. Cut the springs so the car is slammed, gut it, put a cheap rollcage in it and a racing seat with a 5 point harness and try and roll it.
