this is being built by bullish racing who has the fastest 6 speed supra (at 9 second passes). *i believe that is the title it has-not sure*

this tube frame solara (notice the REAR slicks) is RWD and will be powered by a 1000+HP 2jz-gte engine. solaras are FF from factory for those wondering. this will definately be a good competitor and i dont know what class it will be running but i think word is low 9s/8s are expected obviously. probably outlaw class???

anywho this kicks ass hopes to increase aftermarket support for other solaras (which are already backed by a TRD s/c and soome other stuff).

 

Nice concept should be a great body for racing. However why anyone would modify a regular street going Solara is totally beyond me. It is the Chrysler Sebring of the Japanese car world.

 

yeah but mid 14s in a 5 speed v6 solara with a trd s/c plus all the luxuries of leather and wood grain for under $30gs would work for me. plus thats only at 4 psi.

theres a guy with a 13psi pulley and fuel mods in cali. *sniff sniff* smells like 12s

 

And at the end of the day it is still a Camry with only 2 really long doors. For that money there are countless other new cars that would spank it and not be a Solara at the same time. JMHO. I do like the racecar version.

Something is wrong when you only run 13s with 345hp. Especially with awd.
