I think some of you might have misread my comment or I didnt word it correctly.

As oflster said there arent that many fast Mustangs here in Lakeland and that was primarily what I was talkign about. Most the ones around here are stock or maybe have exhaust gears intake and TB. My last comment was primarily about power adders you cant see mainly a bottle. You never really know what is running in a car (sound can give you some clue...but can also be decieving).

I like Mustangs...actually I almost sold my GSX to get one but its not practical at the moment. I still want a turbod GT at some point in the near future. But until then Ill have fun with some of the v8s I can supprise around here with just an eclipse

V8 Mustangs and Camaro/firebird/TAs are still the benchmark of low buck performance. Basically when you put your cash into a car with greater potential youll achieve greater results.
Lets just say if you drop 3 grand into a Civic Si you could hang and beat stock V8 Mustangs. If you drop 3 grand into a Mustang youll be hanging and beating stock C-5 Corvettes.
But then if we all drove Mustangs that would be boring. I say dare to be different. But different doesnt neccessarily mean another civic with a fart pipe and race decals.

Yeah you guys can look for him next week at the track. He is the 85 Stang with the chrome long tube headers ! Why do I say look for the headers ? You will see them when his front end is 3 feet off the ground after he launches ! Oh and I think he said no power adder either !

Thanks for the comments though. Im actually trying to keep the front end down somewhat doesnt help with the times.. but it is good for pictures! Ill be moving some weight around in the car to see if it helps...
Oh and just so no one gets confused the headers are Jet Hot coated long tube Kooks...
