That's what I've been saying about modding Hondas for years.

 

That car has been all over the state. It was fs on here about a year ago and the guy i got the hatch i cammod was actually going to trade for it the guy didnt tell him it had a single cam in it tho! lol

edit: i guess it was a different one i dont think it was boosted. 2 teggies with single cams in fl huh?

Whats wrong with using one cam with the right lift and duration and LSA with a turbo, again?

 

No. The 86-89 Integra came with the D16AX, but it's actually a dual cam D-series!

 

In countries like Israel, Malaysia and others Tegs came with 1.5 single cams. Its cool though cause most of them have the one piece type r style headlights and power folding mirrors.

 

 

A friend of mine had a turbo 4 door teggy that had a built b18c in it. The motor let loose, and he didnt have the funds to replace it, so he built a cheap d series with vitara pistons / eagle rods... I think that set up was like 300 bucks for the rods and pistons, and he got 400+whp... D-series are great cheap little motors that a lot of people have laying around. I can see why someone would just throw that in there rather than shelling out a few grand for a stock b-series.
