I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Maybe they are not just looking for "aftermarket" parts.. but OEM parts since it easier to sell.
What we need is less cops busting street racing.. and more cops looking for thieves. Too many stolen cars. Time to crack down on Chop shops, and shady repair shops. That is where the parts go.
Why else would you want to steal a car with low book value? Hell.. we often park next to 40K cars. Leathers seat in many of those car cost more than my car.

The 40K car is going to have way more anti theft deterents built into than say some mid 90's Honda econobox.

yeah think of it. that whole front end will go on to make a 96-98 look like a 99-00
the sideskirts will go to some honda that thinks theyre cool for some reason.. i've seen them on das dcs egs etc
tail lights and rear bumper to a 96-98
the center radio area will also.
not to mention someone could have wrecked their shit and want to fix it for free.
too bad though, thats why i dont own the fucking things anymore.. oh, that and fwd kinda blows imo
