$350 to replace a set of keys for an 01 altima?
update: he charges 75 dollars for the key, including programming. i'm going tonight!

yeah those FOB's are nice but to replace them sucks. I like my Honda keys you can get them made at walmart for a few bucks
In fact it was such a good price I had 5 keys made just for the hell of it so if I lose one its no big deal. I do need a keyless entry remote, previous owner had lost it.

my gf new scion is almost $500 for a spare from the stealership wtf!!! luckly i havent tried on my altima but my truck was 60 with key and programing.
^only problem is theres a reason for the chip and ive seen old honda keys that are basically useless those cars get to the point you can use any old honda key and they will start...we had a late 80's hatch and almost any key turned it on lol,

thats why i like my old toyota, keys are so basic a cave man could carve one outa bone ahahah
