ehhh you got to pay the ticket and then check if the offer classes like they do in FL if so you have to take it online and then fax it or mail it to them and no points on your license if you don't then they will yes. If i left anything out please insert here lol.

it all depends on the relationship between LA and FL. I got a ticket in Maryland and it did not show on my license. I just paided the ticket, nothing else.

same thing here but my ticket was in Georgia. Alot of the time if you get a ticket and pay it within the 1st 30 days its never reported.

I got a ticket in Georgia, like 92 in a 60 mph construction zone.. it was 3am and there was no construction happening, I was hauling ass home from TN so I could make it to class in the morning.

Anyhow, I paid the ridiculous fine.. and no points were added to my license but it did show up on my driving history.

Default Prepaid Legal Insurance

What Lucky folks.....at one time when the ticket came back to Florida, the points would count as if it was a Florida ticket.

I carry prepaid legal insurance for $16/month where they represent me
at no cost...any city, any county, any state......and I don't have to show....

Clean record means lower car insurance.....-Bob

it varies from state to state, some states share moving violation info with each other some don't
You'll have to check the Florida DMV site and see if Florida has a reciprocity policy with Lousianna

Was it a photo enforced ticket that was mailed to you? If so, I had this happen to me while driving through Livingston Parish, LA. Going 70 in a 60 zone. I paid the $102, no points, just a good old fashioned revenue generator for the county using new tech (cameras). Well, 2 months go by and I receive a check from Livingston Parish for the full amount. Apparantly one of the 'Good Ol Boy' lawyers from Tulane fought a class action suit against the county's use of camera's on the grounds to "Right to Privacy". Needless to say I'm happy.
