When I pulled in at 11AM, I was pre-registered and eligible for the $100 drawing. There was plenty of shade, and the grass parking lot was not as hot as a show on asphalt.......

The free food/burgers for participants were charcoaled, thick, and a lot better than the "40 burgers in a box" that I have seen before in other places.
The free hot dogs were also better quality than I have seen in other places.

The church folks were really friendly and appreciated us showing up.
While they had their own events going to the side, I picked up some ideas from looking at the Rods.

They are planning to make this an annual Father's Day event, and next year it would be the ultimate cool to have the imports outnumber the rods..... which I KNOW we can do........If I can drag myself out of bed after hanging out all Saturday night at you-know-where......... LOL -Bob
