honestly if you aren't hitting up a road course like Sebring, they are at that point more for cosmetics than performance

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

if you need new pads and rotors those sound like one of the cheaper options.

Drilled and slotted stock size rotors have no real performance benefit and can actually get stress cracks if they are overheated. They also wear your brake pads out faster and make a lot of brake dust so your wheels look dirty all the time. If you aren't going to a bigger rotor/caliper combo, I say stick with flat surface oem style rotors. That's my $.02

If you get drilled rotors pay the money for good ones. I got a cheap set one time, cracked between the holes. Now I only use slotted rotors. As far as break pads go, for normal street use I find no substitute for EBC pads. Great grip, good pad life.

Try drilled and dimpled. Less prone to cracking. I do agree w/ everyone, probably more than you need.
