Im sorry I shouldnt have worded it like that because some of the new OHC Dodge engines also use chains I should have said the one that use timing belts. But even so Timing chans also break but not as often in my experience. Also Im not trying to argue which is better sorry if I came off that way Im trying to see both sides of the fence seeing how Chrysler is going full speed ahead with OHC engines.

Baisically push rod is between rockers and lifters. lifters ride cam cam pushes lifters which pushes push rods to rockers which opens valves. Because the the cam is in the block directly above the crank as apposed to in the head.

Wanna talk camless engines? those are neat.
