Cops Are Looking For You!
When you see the annual commercials on TV for seat belt tickets,
it means that law enforcement is looking for probable cause to stop you
so they can write a seatbelt ticket.
At one time the Federal Government paid overtime for a short time period
for "seat belt enforcement".........
Don't give them any probable cause.......
a word to the wise....

I'm pretty sure that they just changed the laws about seatbelts. It's now a primary offense, which means they can pull you over just because you don't have it on. It used to be a secondary offense, so they'd have to pull you over for something else (probable cause, like you mentioned).

I don't get why you'd avoid putting it on anyways. it's not uncomfortable at all (at least for me) and is probably one of the only safety systems a car has that actually works really well without being intrusive.
it really doesn't make any sense for someone not to wear one...

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.

i always wear my seat belt, but i think that it should be completely up to the driver if he/she wants to wear a seatbelt.
