the OP happens to be my room mate.

we've seen suspicious cars driving by our apt complex for quiet some time now, so we've decided to install a surveillance camera in case these fucktards decide to take the car. lo and behold, we caught them. the OP is now working with detectives and that's all we can disclose for now.

i tell you though, the 2 suspects were so wound up to take the R that they've neglected to say cheese to the camera

 

why wouldnt he of said that before? or invest the money you get for a camera and put it into a ALARM for the car...a camera could have seen who did it but an alarm could have stopped it from happening. What good is it to catch the guys who did it when hes not getting his car back! that thing is in a million pieces by now! its just sad!

 

You know how easily thieves can get past an alarm?

i agree w/ you with the whole camera vs. alarm system. unfortunately, as sad as this may sound, everything is too late now (to obtain the car in one piece, is what i meant). though, there was one "stupid" move that the fuckwads did while they were taking the car and it's all caught on tape.

we'll keep you guys posted.
