i have a 96 integra 4dr ls and im planning to buy a b18c5 from a friend. i wanted to know if ill have any problems bolting this up to my automatic tranny.

Well b series to b series but thats a waste and a half and Im pretty damn sure it wont hold up for a while. Automatic trannies esp hondas can only take so much.

 

it WILL work i see why not all B-series trannys bolt up to B-series blocks. but like dont use the LS tranny cause like the gear ratio sucks.

 

You can sure go ahead and try it....but I bet youll have to have the tranny rebuilt more often than I have had to....except mine is with an appropriate engine....so if you feel like tossing out $1500+/- per rebuild.......go for it.

I dont think you would have any problems at all with it honda transmissions are pretty strong as long at you dont abuse them(neutral drops or reverse to drive while still moving etc.)

 

ugh.... anyone else smell troll? theyve named theirself gaydave and ask about a type R motor in a 96 4 door AT? hmmmm....

 

I was wondering the same thing....but I dunno......theres that kid Kornizm-R asking if DOHC means a V6 and if Preludes have 6 cylinders in them and if he can put a b16 in an Integra and such.....Im leaning towards trolls in both cases.
