Ferrari of Tampa Bay had one in the showroom a little while ago. The owner of the dealership owns it. I was told he recently had it shipped up to his home in New Jersey.

 

That's a pretty cool car to see on the street.

 

Daily driving cant be good for it. I'd imagine a car built for the track doesnt sit so well in bumper to bumper traffic.

 

I think the DuPont family (Dupont Registry) has a MC12 in their collection here locally. It was in their compound at Testicals of Speed awhile back.

 

They say it's a great DD, Just no radio lol

And being 17 ft long.. the same foot print as a Hummer i wouldn't want ANYTHING around it, So therefore, I would not daily it lol

 

Yeah thats the factory spoiler...notice that it was extended on either side? Thats for rear visibility from the side mirrors since it doesnt have a rear view mirror

Also, its faster than an Enzo.

it's a little bit slower, Ferrari doesn't want to sell a car thats faster than their top model


they gave the engine less power than the Enzo's because the MC12 has better aerodynamics and weighs less, so it would be faster if it had the same amount of power than the Enzo.

 

Yeah, thats what I heard too, but it was faster around the Top Gear track

 

you're right, I think that's because of the aerodynamics and the weight what gives a better performance in handling.

Nevertheless has the MC12 less power and has a lower top speed + 0-62 mph time

tbh, I couldn't care less if I had one of them
