You need to be a storage yard or a tow company in order to take possesion of the car. Otherwise you will need to call a tow company and tow it out. (they will probably do the same thing after that. they have to send a written notice to the registered owner and advertise on the local news paper for auction, if its not sold they will get a title for it. This process takes about 35 days.) You can't really put a lien on it since you are not a business and don't have an invoice for storage.
