Default my life in the honda game.

ok i got my second job when i was 17 and my mother couldnt drive me to work any more so i had to save up, i bought a 1990 4dr da. drove it for quit some time and then blew the motor, my brother then swapped in a b18b1. i eventually moved out and wanted to upgade. so i got a small loan. (im 18 at this point and live on my own). i bought my first eg hatch. it was a pretty clean 92 eg hatch(cx) with a b20z in it..after hitting 1 too many raccoons i had to get a front bumper so I, along with alot of the tuner world had a multicolored honda...





did many minor things to the car to make it mine...
then one day a very stupid person decided he was stupid and rear ended me, the day after i get the blades put on...




so i got some money and i buy this without the motor, tranny, exhaust and the rims...i got it bc it has a brand new paint job and i can swap all my interior, even though it has interior(mines better), and i can swap my motor into it...95 eg hatch(dx). and so this build begins.



i took my amber corners and put them on, and i took absolutly everything out of this hatch and cleaned it with brushes, and where there was little rust i wire brushed it, all in preperation for the interior swap.





i did the spray on bed liner and started piecing together the inside. this time i went and got all the plastics in and the rear wiper delete.







well swaped mirrors and front suspension, and did some minor interior work....i wanna drive it!!!!








at this point everything is done except the exhaust(bc the s pipe was bent), and i need to swap the rear suspension. very happy with the way everything worked out... but during the build we ran into a few problems, like the new hatch has a lil front end damage, which made the radiator sit at an angle, which would not allow the hood to shut all the way...we used a come-along and a pillar from the pole barn to pull it out...well here is a few before and after pics...

oh and yes i have a difrent c/v now. and yes i regret getting rid of the morroso one...










then i got on the road again.
and kept slowly modding it...






then i ran into a deal. i traded my b20z long block for a ls/v longblock that was also in a hatch that walked me. tore the motor apart and began the engine build. will have more pics of the engine build as soon as keith gets his camera from my brother.





here is my complete mod list as of the end of this build was becoming closer.

well took it to the track and ran a 14.1 on street tires, needs a wide band and a tune to bust 13's. motor was just built by steve(my brother and luvsracin87) and keith(TYPE_LS).
thanks to them its done. motor was built right, with new gaskets, bearings, seals, and fluids. many can vouch for this build.


engine=
block:
b18a1,
all brand new oem bearings(crank and rod),
fresh ls crank,
new main seals(front and rear),
jdm itr pistons,
ls rods,
arp rod bolts,
ctr oil pump,
ctr water pump.
new cosmetic ls/vtec head gasket,
new oil pan gasket,
DC sports 4-1 header.
full apexi N1 with test pipe.

headput together, cleaned, and painted by cylinder head of tampa)
gsr freshly tapped for ls/v,
resurfaced,
3 angle valve job,
new oem valve guide seals,
jdm itr cams,
jdm itr springs,
jdm itr retainers,
skunk2 first gen intake manny,
new arp head studs,
new xact spark plug wires,
new vavle cover gasket,
velocity stack to stock airbox.

trannyput together by vance/lyzlst)
99 b16,
phantom grip lsd,
new axle seals,
fresh bay city dual friction clutch.

ecu:
chipped p28 by ns racing(neil sutton)
basemap is ls/vtec with skunk2 intake manny,
vtec @ 5400,
shiftlight @ 8400,
redline @ 8600.

interior=
JDM consol with stock honda radio and cubby,
alpine stereo with ipod connect through glove box,
Quick Release steering wheel,
NRG steering hub,
Skunk2 shift knob,
ITR shift boot,
oem shifter has been shortened 2 1/2 inches(threads cut and welded back on),
S2000 black leather front seats,
GSR black leather rears,
fresh carpet,
broadway mirror,
integra floor mats,
suede head liner,
black hatch cover,
cluster is from an ex or si i believe it has a tach and goes to 9000(pink needles),
plaid fabric on doors, a-pillars, and visors.

exterior=
Omni power full coilovers,
Omni power camber kit,
Omni power rear lower control arms,
Skunk2 rear lower traction bar,
clean gsr blades(alright tires,need low pros),
front and rear benen tow hooks,
amber corners,
spoon style duckbill,
type r front lip,
oem style fogs,
rear wiper delete."

and then wednesday my car was stolen. this is what was left of my hatch that i picked up this morning.








yea i cried. more will be added...

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!

ok so april this year (2009), i bought a stock 97 ls integra as a dd, just to get into and go, i dont have pics of it bc it really wasnt anything special. i recently traded it for a 94 civic eg hatch!!
its got the basics and a lil more. my ultimate goal for it will be NA 200+HP and it will be auto crossed, yet still be my baby and DD. this will be a much slower build than my last one and i will be taking the proper security precautions this time also, so be on the look out for a build thread...

I had a strange feeling that this thread was going to end in the car being stolen. Part out what little is left and buy yourself something less likely to get stolen.
