Arrow What is your performance shop experience?

Have you taken you car to a performance shop in Tampa bay? If anything stands out (positive or negative) post it up here.

I recently wrote an article about finding performance shops in Tampa Bay.

Article: Performance shops of Tampa Bay

There's around 72 performance shops in Tampa! Most of them are good. I've only had experience with a few of them, so far so good.

I've had good experiences with S&R performance, and 3gsucks. S&R did a really good job with down pipe and coolant issue, it was solved quickly with out question for a great price. 3gsucks street tuning is a great price, and an amazing tune. Not many will street tune now days lol

I'm curious as to what the members of TR have to say about the performance shops of Tampa Bay. I've read plenty of accounts, but not all of them. If this thread turns out good, I'll post a link to it in the article as a follow up discussion.

Thanks for your input! All input gets reppd

There's already an entire forum for this.

I'm looking more for open contributions than digging through endless posts. Plus the poll includes valuable information about the generalized opinion of public as well. What ever happened to your install article? I hope the installation went smooth. You mentioned some heavy work lol. If you had to use a shop, which one would you pick? About your article-->You never contacted me back about it... offer is still open just let me know --

If I ever had to use a shop, Genium Performance would be my first choice.
Install went well, actually.
It's undergoing a second teardown, as the install I just did was for mock-up.
You'll have plenty of good pics

Your threads are getting really old fast.

The poll is worthless, just like the last one in the rally thread. This just sounds like you want everyone's opinion so you can write an article off of it.

who cares what he wants it for? PLEASE tell me you actually care. that will comfirm youre a moron.

i havent used any of the shops really since chavez went byebye( ) i like to work on my own cars with my friends and my dad. it makes it a totally different experience than just saving up money and paying someone to build me a 400hp car. Id rather have the pride of saying i painted my own car, or built my own built engine ya know?
