Exclamation Toyota is dropping out of F1

Wow did you hear the news, "Toyota F1 budget cut" Toyota is going to drop out of the F1. First subaru drops WRC, even after winning consecutively, and now Toyota is threatening to drop F1 program. Toyota has a horrible record, and Subaru's was near perfect and still got dropped.

This sucks, I really enjoyed Toyota's team. What do you think? Happy or sad?

F1 has always been dominated by European manufacturers. F1 wants it that way and it will never change.

On the positive side certain motorsports might actually become affordable for smaller teams. Dunno.

Where does it say that toyota is dropping out? It says their budget was slashed again.

"Toyota's decision not to follow suit (Honda) was believed to have been a very close one, a renewed sponsorship deal with Japanese electronics company Panasonic providing a timely boost."

They're not dropping out. They NEARLY dropped out but Panasonic wanted to stay in so that helped push them to stay.

The Trulli/Glock duo should be solid contenders this year.

They are not dropping out and with the new budget cap set for next year it is likely they will stay.

It would suck to loose at team but its not like they've really done anything really impressive...

My thoughts exactly, This year will shake a bunch of things up even though in the end it may be similar to years gone by...but it will lead to other teams having more success in the years to come.
