Default compressor surge

hey there i have been on here a lil while and have come out to some events and have had the chance to meet a few of you but i was curious if maybe any others on here could help me out ...

I have a 335i and one day had blown my charge pipe off and ever since my car has never been the same .. the bov doesnt always go off and it sounds like i have compressor surge now?? and it doesnt feel as fast ???

i have checked my boost gauge and it says i am running 14 psi like i am suppose to so i dont know what the problem could be i even replaced the bov with a new one... does any one have any ideas??

also does anyone in the clearwater tampa area maybe have a greddy type-s bov i could try for like 15 min lol to se if that helps out

thanx in advance to all that reply

Are you sure you put the pipe back together correctly and hooked the BOV to the vacuum source?

Also, I'm assuming you have a chip or inaccurate boost gauge or something, because they run 10 psi from the factory.

yes i have taken the pipe off and put it back on many of times lol and it was weird it just blew off one time and then when i reatached it like i always would it didnt work and blew off again then i re installed it and it worked good like it use to then it came off and another two times i kept putting it back on till i had purchased new stronger clamps and then now the pipe stays on no problem but it now sounds like compressor surge and the blow off needs to be under very heavy load to blow off ...

also yes i have an aftermarket tune to run that high of boost as well as exhaust, 3" catless downpipes w/ o2 sim, cold air intake, charge pipe with BOV, clutch delay vave and stock bmw front mount ... but it ran fine with this setup for 9 months then one day it just stopped working now i have compressor surge and no one at bmw even knows whats going on with it .....

what managment are you using?? Vishnu, JB???

If I was you I would put the stock piping back on (eliminate the BOV Pipe) and see how it runs then. Are you getting any codes or limp mode?
