I am happy as hell I was grinning ear to ear as John can attest. My first ten second slip. Car has more in it as it sits...I made a goof with the nitrogen system that may have cost me a tenth or two as well as being ALL ove the track. But hey...its a solid ten...ill take it!!!!!!

And if any of you guys saw the next two runs that was the icing on the cake. My friends had been talkin trash about my driving and why I wasnt getting a ten. They kept saying...let me drive it Ill get a ten. I would just answer...man its not easy getting everything right on a basically stock SS six speed with 600 rwhp on a full 1320 run. Well after I hit my goal I let two friends take the car down the track on motor. Those of you that saw that can attest to the humbling nature of thier passes and running on motor is half as hard as a Nos run.

Thanks alot guys! Hehehehe yeah it was a handful...I almost let out at the top of second being too close to the wall. And Joker you couldnt be more right about suspension. I wont be going back and spraying until I get some beefier parts under there as well as some ET drags. But Im still happy as hell!

He didnt say that it wasnt a 10 sec daily driver. He said he would love to have a 10 sec daily driver. Not that his car wasnt a daily driver.

 

Congratulations on your breaking into the 10s. I remember back in the day the first time I broke into the 10s. The run before that one I had gotten an 11.2XX and I was so happy that I was so close to the 10s then my friend tells me not to get so excited because breaking in the 10s aint that easy. My next run I got a 10.998. Just barely squeezed in there.

















Ofcourse that was in the 1/8 mile.
