The largo pd officer that conducted my concealed class told me that due to the economy he would give most a lesser ticket like "failure to obey a traffic device"

this is true, as i got pulled over while on the way home. first time in over a year. and i wasn't even paying attention. but the fine was higher than I remember from 2 years back.....

i was pulled over this morning, 69 in a 55 my ticket is 191$ (lol) shame on me...........

You would think if you're low on cash, you wouldn't be taking financial risks such as investing in stocks, opening a business, gambling, or, say, I don't know.....committing fineable offenses. The saying "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time," applies here, although money is the factor, not time. Don't speed if a ticket once in a while is going to be devastating. Not that $200 should be any car-owner's excuse for filing bankruptcy. Frankly I'm stunned that cops are giving people a break to counteract the higher fines, but maybe the world will slowly come to believe the outlandish thought that cops are really humans.
