20 year old CRX - 57 mpg STOCK
I had a friend that had a stock '90 CRX HF. That thing would not accelerate after about 65mph. Like others said using 4th and 5th just changed the engine tone. I was afraid to drive it, not because of it being a small car, but because I was afraid I would be rear ended by it not being able to accelerate fast enough into traffic. The car was the definition of failure on the interstate. Depending on the wind direction it would actually slow the car down, and you'd have the keep it full throttle just to hold an interstate speed without slowing down. Which didn't help at all since there was no difference in performance between normal throttle and full throttle.
uh, no. Nice body lines, not a great car by any means as delivered. Put some work into it, like a twin cam, change the seats to Si, bolt up Si suspension and brakes, put some wheels on it, then its competent with today's cars. But potential does not mean "good car".
8valves for the win with a Tb the size of a redbull can.but yes the hf had a great transmission you can get to like 65 in firstgear hhehe i have yet to see any other civic under 01 get more then about 38 or so
