They arent going by looks, yes that blue P.O.S is ugly, but the cars on the yahoo list where for reliability. was the aztek reliable ?? if so then it prob wouldn't make the list.

 

Half the cars on the list are reliable, weres the pinto and the fiero if were going by reliabilty? Or the rx7 with a 6port 13b?

 

What year RX7? I've owned plenty of RX-7's from 86-88 One with 133k, another with around 140k one with 230k another with 250k. sold all of them to get another one. Never had a problem with mine. RX-7's have to be babied. or they will break.

I've even had one I bought from Warner Towing that was sitting in his lot for 6 years, and had the paper work to prove it. took me a few hours to get it started with playing and tweeking it and had that car running for about 5 years without a motor problem, cause I took care of it. thats the one that went on to have 250k on it and I didn't babied that motor, I used to run that car on the streets like crazy, but always changed the oil, checked the fluids, always tuned it. etc.. etc.. car ran like a champ


P.S don't buy cars from him. I think he ended up going to jail for stealing and falsifying records. heh. Thats what i heard.

 

They are spot on about the Malibu, except for one thing...it wasnt renamed "Classic" until 2004.

My fiance drives our 1999. I hate the thing. Its made for old people and fatties. It handles like a loaded barge, the interior is pushed way away from the passengers, you practically have to streach to change the radio station. However, ours has 138,000 miles on it, other than an alternator and some brake work it hasnt had any problems. Pretty good since her uncle dried to drive it into the ground for several months and her mom neglected it pretty bad for quite a few years before we got it.

 

Not by looks? They said the Xr4 was good quality, aerodynamic, and quick. All they could say was it looked funny.

 

Well majority of the cars were for not being reliable and falling apart.

 

I know. I think there were 20-30 cars far more qualified for that list
