Corolla Race!
So I wonder if anything happen like this to you guys. I was sitting in the break room at work just chillen watching tv with my friend and a corolla comercial comes on tv. Im like man, those corollas are slow. One of the supervisors was sitting next to me and he is like "I have a corolla and Im sure it can beat your car in the race." I just kinda chuckled and my friend was like man "he will race you for pinks." I was like "Naw thats ok" and just kept watching TV. Im sitting here at work and was just wondering if anything like that has happen to you guys!

He never mentioned what was done to the corolla... a car is a car. I had a friend with a fully built 81 corolla that beat a corvette c5 not once but twice in a row in a street race. The guy was pissed and just simply drove off...

Years ago, I got smeared once by a busted up Saturn SL1 on steelies, fart can, ad w/ 4 dudes in it, and it had the biggest tach ever on the dash. I was in a very clean, mostly stock '96 Altima SE w/ a 5 spd. Thought I'd show some domestic rice how it's done.
At first we were side by side (they were taunting me), when he put the hammer down it was over in an instant. The blow-off valve sound was the give-away. That car was crazy fast.
I tried to pull along side the dudes afterwards just to get a second look, to make sure what I saw was a SL1, it was....and they were still laughing.
Moral of the story: Shitty cars can be fast too.
