Your best bet is Autotrader.com or Collectorcartraderonline.com since their search engines will match the car to your requirements. Good luck though. Lower mileage is gonna fetch a higher price. Plus you can't really trust the mileage on a car that old anyways. I had a '97 Z28 with 167K miles. Traded it in at Carmax a little over a year ago and found it a few months later on Autotrader.com that some hack speedshop in NPR was selling it with 110K miles and for $7K, while Carmax only gave me $1200 for it...LOL. Mid year '97 GM switched the odometer to digital instead of the old rolling-dial kind, mine had the latter, easier to roll back I suppose.

^thanks.

I found a 97 Z28, 6 speed for sale..47k original miles. I looked at it today, it had digital dash I noticed. He wants $4500 for it, I'm going to pull a car fax at work tomorrow and if its clean I think we have a winner.

3. The Z28 owns the T/A at the track.

That is all. GL with your search.
Brett! Saw you on the road last week. The car looks and sounds awesome.

I thought that was you. I was on my way to gearhead to fill some bottles before I went to BMP last Fri night.

Sorry no pics. I swear it did though. You can research it because I thought it was peculiar that other '97s I saw had digital dashes as well since that was the first year of the redesigned interior, but I read later on that early builds still had the mechanical odometer.

I could tell it was my Z I saw in the ad. Autotrader shows the VIN of most of the cars they show and my paperwork matched it. They showed part of the dash where I incorporated a shift light in the gauge cluster area. They had replaced the factory cassette with a GM CD player head unit and it looked like they reupholstered the driver's seat and returned the Z28 badges....I had debadged it to make it look like a V6...still not worth the $7K they were asking. I called and they said it was sold. I feel sorry for any guy thinking that they got a young LT1 that can handle a 150 shot.

If you have the VIN, run by your local GM dealer and get a GMVIS printout....stands for GM Vehicle Inquiry System. I got one for my 25K mile '02 T/A when I bought it last year. It tells you all the dealer work done to the car from any GM dealer it may have been to, from warranty work to accident repair. You may or may not have to pay for it...the dealer I bought my car from included it with mine after i asked them.
