Those that said Demello's car wont pull a tire
Quite a few people have claimed that there was not a chance in hell that a stock motored 2v 4.6 mustang GT on 100 shot could pull the tires.
I did it with a weak 1.8 60 ft time, with a 1.6 it would probably carry them a few feet. Some also claimed that the stock 8.8 axles would snap on the first launch on slicks, thay obviously know nothing about an 8.8 rear. They are not the strongest rear in the world, but in stock form can handle A LOT of abuse asl long as the axle hop is kept to a minimum (just like the IRS Cobra's too).
For those that cray foul, and he was not driving, and he did not own the slicks, It does not matter if he purchased them or borrowed them. The naysayers said that it could not be done even on slicks, so I bolted mine on the car and helped him accomlish the task that he was told "HIS CAR WOULD NOT PULL THE TIRES"
As for me driving, any one can rev a car up to 4 or 5K and dump the clutch and it would pull the tires, what happens after that is another story.
